Lubumbashi is the capital and largest city of Haut-Katanga province. It is a major industrial and commercial centre, home to many mining companies and related industries.


Major mining companies like Gécamines, Katanga Mining Ltd, and Chinese firms operate large mining concessions in Haut-Katanga. The DRC produces over 3% of the world's copper and half its cobalt, much of which comes from the region.

A risk score based on their direct and indirect relations is determined using Evidencity's proprietary risk scoring methodology.
